The Principal
It is with great enthusiasm and honor that I address you as the newly appointed Principal of Tindiret Technical and Vocational College (TTVC). As I step into this role at the end of July 2024, I am filled with excitement about the opportunities that lie ahead for our institution and our community.
TTVC has already established itself as a beacon of technical and vocational education in Nandi County since its inception in 2019. I am committed to building upon this strong foundation and leading our college into a future of innovation, excellence, and community engagement.
My vision for TTVC is centered on three key pillars:
1. Educational Excellence: We will continue to offer high-quality, industry-relevant programs under the Competency Based Assessment and Training (CBET) system. Our goal is to equip our students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in their chosen fields.
2. Innovation and Technology: In this rapidly evolving technological landscape, we must ensure that our programs and facilities keep pace with industry advancements. We will work tirelessly to update our curriculum and enhance our infrastructure to provide cutting-edge education.
3. Community Partnership: TTVC is more than just an educational institution; it is a vital part of our local community. We will strengthen our ties with local industries, government bodies, and community organizations to create more opportunities for our students and contribute to regional development.
To our students: You are the heart of this institution. Your dreams, aspirations, and hard work drive us forward. I encourage you to take full advantage of the opportunities available at TTVC and to challenge yourselves to reach new heights.
To our departments and staff: Your dedication and expertise are invaluable. I look forward to working alongside you to create an environment that fosters learning, growth, and innovation.
To our community partners and stakeholders: Your support and collaboration are crucial to our success. I am eager to explore new ways we can work together for the benefit of our students and our region.
As we embark on this new chapter together, I invite all of you to share your ideas, concerns, and aspirations for TTVC. My door will always be open, and I am excited to engage with each of you.
Thank you for your warm welcome. Let us move forward together, committed to excellence, innovation, and the bright future of Tindiret Technical and Vocational College.
Sincerely,
Patrick Tororei
